What brought you to Relentless fitness?
I moved to Philly a little over a year ago and I was looking for a gym with a great team of people to surround myself with. I enjoy the community feel at Relentless and I love that the entire staff shares the same motivation and focus on making our clients success paramount.
What does fitness mean to you?
I believe that if you work to create a strong body it really helps you build a strong mind and confidence in yourself. Making exercise a regular part of life is so much more than just looking good in a bathing suit. It gives you energy, improves mood, helps you sleep better and allows you an overall improvement in quality of life.
What are your hobbies outside of training?
Originally from Vancouver, Canada I love being outdoors and being active. Some of my favourite pastimes include skiing, hiking, camping and enjoying time withfriends and family. I also love to cook and go on adventures with my husband and dog Dice.
What would you say to a person thinking of training with you?
I work hard to provide my clients with the support, motivation, and guidance they need to reach their fitness goals. Some of my favourites types of exercise include HIIT (high intensity interval training), compound body weight movements, weight and circuit training. I also focus on improving flexibility and core strength during our workouts. I like to keep things fun and exciting to keep you motivated and never bored with a repetitive routine. The body adapts quickly and providing variety can help prevent you from hitting plateaus.
